Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the BDF and First Deputy Prime Minister, the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) organizes, tomorrow Monday 12 March 2018, a celebration marking the graduation of the first of the batch of the public administration master’s degree program. The execution of program is a result of collaboration and partnership with the French X- Marseille University, the French National Management school, University of Bahrain and TAMKEEN Institution, in addition to the International Academy which supervised presentation of the program’s study module. The academy boasts the crème de la crème and best international practitioners and academicians in the field of public administration. The first class of the program comprised 22 graduates from both the public and private sectors, who successfully completed and passed the graduation requirements.
The Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) started offering the public administration master’s degree program back in the year 2016, motivated by the Institute belief in the importance of scientific research in the development of the public administration system in the region in order to attain the highest standards of quality in offering government services that keep pace with the developmental aspirations.
The purpose of the program is to realize the expectations of the citizens by producing government policies on scientific and systematic foundations. The program is deemed to be the first professionally academic program designed while taking into consideration the training needs of the employees of both the public and private sectors.
