The Institute of Public Administration held yesterday a contractual training course for the Council of Representatives under the title “training of trainers”, with the participation of 13 Supervisors and section heads, and will last for a period of 10 days. The course aims to train participants theoretically and practically to become certified trainers and be able to apply best practices in the field of training. This course comes in furtherance of the fruitful cooperation between the Institute of Public Administration and the Council of Representatives in the training field.
The course focuses on the development of trainees in the sphere of training by identifying the concepts and the importance of training process, the importance of creating skilled trainer, identifying learning theories and patterns and how to apply them in actual training, as well as identifying phases of training process and requirements of each stage, in addition to learning how to identify and formulate training objectives, and how to apply them in real training.
On the other hand, the course deals with best international practices in designing and preparation of training packages, and how to evaluate it, as well as application of global best practices in presentation skills, and finally analyzing training needs and how to measure the returns on training.
The training tools and means in place in this course are varied to include applications of international best practices in this area, as well as to address real-life situations of work, in addition to group discussions in what is called brainstorming manner, and review situations, problems, illustrative films and demonstrations, and finally play roles.
This course comes within a series of contractual sessions held by the Institute of Public Administration with the Council of Representatives, aiming at meeting the existing training needs and development of staff to provide quality services to yield benefits to the Council and the services it provides.
