The Republic of Italy awards Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa the Order of the “Star of Italy” for her outstanding efforts in strengthening the friendly relations between the two nations
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration and member of the Supreme Council for Women, received the Order of the Star of Italy, awarded by the President of the Italian Republic, as an expression of his country’s appreciation for its efforts in strengthening friendly relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain at all levels.
The ceremony took place during the reception of HE Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain Paola Amadi for HE Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, who expressed her happiness at receiving this esteemed medal, praising the continuous development and progress of the close and distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Italy at various levels, reflecting the common and growing desire to develop various frameworks for cooperation and bilateral coordination promoting the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
HE Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa expressed her deepest gratitude to the Italian Republic for the high appreciation she has received, praising the cooperation of HE Ambassador Paola Amadi and her keenness to push relations between the two countries to wider horizons at various levels.
For her part, HE Paola Amadi said that she is honored, on behalf of His Excellency President Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic, to award Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa the Order of the Star of Italy and to decorate her with this medal, noting her great and tangible efforts during her work, whether at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Higher Education Council, stressing that her efforts contributed to diversifying and developing ways of cooperation and joint work between the two friendly countries in the diplomatic, political, economic and educational fields as well as the teaching of the Italian language in Bahrain.
She thanked Dr. Sh. Rana for developing the frameworks of coordination towards various issues of mutual interest and in all international forums, wishing Her Excellency continued success and prosperity.
It is worth mentioning that the “Order of the Star of Italy” is one of the most prestigious medals awarded by the President of the Italian Republic to personalities who have a significant and prominent role in strengthening relations of cooperation and friendship with his country.
