The Institute of Public Administration held a series of contractual training sessions with the Council of Representatives started since April and will continue to September, intended to develop skills and expertise in various professional fields for the staff of the Council, a value added benefit to the services provided by them.
Recently a number of courses were held e.g. time management, prioritization of work and how to deal with stress, with the participation of 25 employees at the premises of the Institute of Public Administration, the aim was to enable participants to adopt methods and strategies and organized ways in investing and scheduling their time and priorities using modern technologies.
The participants stressed on the importance of this course, which helped them to recognize the importance of time management and study the cost, in addition to identifying main wastages of time and ways of getting rid of them. Participants noted that the course helped them to be time committed through recognizing the nature of dealing different types of humans with time, as well as recognizing the difference between positive and negative stresses. Furthermore, the participants highlighted that the advantage earned from the course exceeded professional skills to social relations by identifying ways of applying balancing skills between work and family, as well as the application of modern methods to get rid of stress and set priorities.
Moreover, the Institute of Public Administration completed today another workshop which lasted 3 days, entitled “Excellence in Secretary and Office Management” held at the premises of the Institute and 22 employees of the Council of Representatives took part in the workshop. This workshop aims to develop the skills of secretary staff and office managers in the Council of Representatives, and applying effectively modern methods of office management and dealing with different personalities at all levels of management.
At the end of the course, participants will learn the importance of excellence in secretary work and office management, and the modern methodical concepts of office management, in addition to the management and organization of meetings, scheduling of appointments and maintaining and managing files. On the social aspect, the participant will be able to apply the skills and arts of communication and effective intercommunication, and professional and behavior skills in this field, in addition to applying skills of success in various relations in the management of offices.
It is worth mentioning that the Institute of Public Administration present its contractual training services to a group of ministries and government bodies, to satisfy the training needs and administrative shortages that require more skills and management development to match the size of the tasks and responsibilities entrusted to it.
