The Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa will patronize tomorrow Thursday, the third graduation ceremony of the training programs of the Institute of Public Administration, which will be held in Al-Ghazal hall at Ritz Carlton Hotel. The Director General of the Institute of Public Administration Dr. Raed bin Shams stated that the ceremony includes graduating 270 public sector employees representing various ministries and government authorities, distributed over five training programs, the first is the government leadership preparation diploma program, amounted to 38 managers, “Cadres” program for sections' heads amounted to 29, professionalism certificate program in Human Resources foundations reached 47 employees, in addition to government projects management, numbered 22 employees, and finally government leadership preparation diploma program, numbered 132 newly appointed employees.
Bin Shams indicated that this ceremony will also include honoring 14 authorities cooperating with the Institute of Public Administration in the field of training and information, in recognition and gratitude to the continued support to the training activities and programs of the Institute, among honorees Minister of Culture Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Minister of State for Follow-up Affairs Mohammed Al-Mutawa, Undersecretary of the National Audit Court Dr. Ahmed Al-Balushi, in addition to the following government agencies; e-Government Authority, Council of Representatives, Economic Development Board, Ministry of Finance, and finally Information Affairs Authority. On the other hand, bin Shams stressed the importance for strengthening cooperation between the government and private sectors, in order to exchange experiences and skills that will benefit both sides, and in honor of this constructive cooperation, the Institute will honor both Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and Zain Telecommunication Company.
In regard to the media, bin Shams explained that the efforts exerted by the Institute of Public Administration couldn’t have been reached without the cooperation of the media, especially the daily press, where both Al-Watan and Al-Bilad newspapers will be honored for continuously publishing the events, activities and programs of the Institute.
Bin Shams stressed patronization of the ceremony by Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa is an enormous support for the outputs of the Institute of Public Administration, pointing out the graduates will enrich government work with appropriate management skills and practices they have trained on during the training period, thus contributing to raising the level of productivity and services in the public sector which contributes to advancing the wheel of progress and development in the ministries and government bodies.
The organizing committee calls upon all graduates to adhere to the specified time to attend the ceremony, where the registration period will start from 7:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m.
