Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, stressed that the Institute is keen to keep pace with national visions and plans, aimed at placing the Kingdom of Bahrain in forefront of all public administration sciences, noting that the Institute’s work strategy aims to classify all its services and programs consistent with international standards in order to raise their quality and efficiency and achieve national aspirations.
Her statement came on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain, represented by the Institute of Public Administration, obtaining international accreditation by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as the first government institution in the Arab Gulf region to obtain this accreditation, for the Coach Leader Preparation Program (Level I).
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa explained that the Coach Leader Development Program was designed internally by the Institute’s cadres, to meet local needs and live up to international standards, which contributed to making the Institute the first institution in the Gulf to obtain international accreditation by the International Coaching Federation ICF, with the name of the Institute officially included on the website of the International Coaching Federation as a provider of the Certified coaching program. She added that this accreditation will enhance the Institute’s role as an accredited international center to provide coaching services to the public and private sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa said that the Coach Leader Preparation Program is an integrated training program concerned with developing the coaching skills of managers and heads of departments in the public and private sectors, and enabling them to guide their employees towards institutional goals, which achieves a distinguished level of institutional performance, and contributes to raising the efficiency and level of performance and work in the public and private sectors.
It is worth mentioning that the International Coaching Federation is a global American non-profit organization concerned with setting global standards for the accreditation of coaches and training programs on coaching skills at the highest professional levels.
