Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain is full of distinguished national competencies and expertise that enjoy continuous support in order to enhance their contributions to the comprehensive development process, adding that the Institute of Public Administration is keen to achieve optimal investment in national cadres and make them a key partner in providing institutional services in a way that enhances institutional integration in partnership with experienced and specialized Bahraini competencies.
Her Excellency’s statement came on the occasion of the announcement by the Institute of Public Administration to commence registration in the initiative to attract national competencies, from the public and private sectors, practitioners and specialists in their field of administrative and institutional work, in order to highlight Bahraini expertise at various professional levels in order to achieve sustainability in the administrative sciences system.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa explained that the initiative aims to build a base of national competencies with experience in various fields of public administration, and benefit from them in providing training services, consultations, project evaluation, Mentoring and Coaching, research, studies and Surveys. She pointed out that the Institute also seeks through this initiative to make national cadres the first and optimal choice to invest in their capabilities and develop their skills to enable them in the future to provide these services at the regional and international levels within the continuous efforts of the Institute to transform from being consumers of science and knowledge to become the source of expertise, knowledge and administrative sciences.
The Institute of Public Administration requires that the applicant be a Bahraini national, have at least 5 years of practical experience in the field he wishes to join, has worked on qualitative projects and initiatives in the institution, and has attained a Masters degree or accredited specialized certificates or their equivalent.
