The Institute of Public Administration announced the opening of registration for the sixth batch of the preparation diploma program for government leaders (leaders), which will begin on September 3rd until 27th December of this year, as the program seeks to develop the capacities of new directors at the beginning of their managerial work, as part of initiatives of the Institute to enrich the government work within the economic vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain 2030 to increase the efficiency in the public sector.
Preparation diploma program for government leaders (leaders), use the Bahraini leadership model that contains five key roles for the Director, which are determine the vision and lead the organization, develop individuals and improve their capabilities, control the work of the organization and develop it as well as pay attention to customer care, partners, and achieve results.
The program includes training components that seek to raise awareness of the Director and build his skills in several necessary areas in order to carry out his duties in a professional way, the program also offers the necessary advice and guidance for the new manager in the first months of appointment through specialized advisers providing information in various aspects of administrative work. The training program includes theoretical and practical aspects covering all features of administration in the government sector as well as hosting many of personalities in the top leadership positions and experts from the public and private sectors.
It is worth mentioning that the Institute of Public Administration has graduated more than 100 managers over five consecutive batches from various government bodies and institutions who took part in the program after appointing them as acting managers.
