Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa, the Director General of the institute of Public Administration affirmed that today continous learning is an essential requirement for enabling the cadres in the Institutional work system by aquiring the latest knowledge, science and skills that will assist them to face the latest developments and overcome the challenges on the local and international levels.
Her Excellency explained that the Institute of Public Administration is keen on redesigning its programmes and services to keep abreast with the educational and scientific advancement and progress and match the training requirements on both the theoretical and practical levels.
Her statement came on the occasion of the institute’s launching, in coordination with the National Centre for Cyber Security(NCCS) an electronic ic course entitled The basics of Cyber Security, targeting employees in the various institutions of the Public sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
For is part His Excellency, Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Centre for Cyber Security stated that the Centre endeavors to achieve more safer government systems and services by raising the awareness of Public sector employees in Cyber Security by providing various training courses and workshops through its strategic partnership with the Institute of Public Administration
His Excellency added that these efforts emanate from the fundamentals of the National strategy for Cyber Security as the 5th principle of the strategy aims to develop the national cadres by developing their skills and expertise to reach advanced levels in various Cyber specialisations . He added this in turn will enable them to transfer their expertise to the those in second tiers which will achieve sustainability and continuity in the advancement of the national cadres in Cyber Security.
