

Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Daij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, affirmed that the values of tolerance, coexistence, and peace are fundamental pillars and a deep-rooted approach in Bahraini society, reflecting the Kingdom of Bahrain’s vision in promoting these values both nationally and internationally.
This came during her meeting with His Excellency Ambassador Dr. David Fernández Puyana, the Permanent Representative of the United Nations-affiliated University for Peace Mission and the university’s representative to UNESCO. The meeting included discussions on various topics of mutual interest.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Daij Al Khalifa emphasized the Institute of Public Administration’s commitment to strengthening partnerships and expanding collaboration with leading international institutions, such as the University for Peace, in areas of training, consultancy, scientific research, and coaching programs. She also highlighted that integrating concepts of social peace into training programs and initiatives enhances the preparation of national leaders capable of making strategic decisions and formulating policies that contribute to comprehensive development in line with global best practices.
For his part, His Excellency Ambassador Dr. David Fernández Puyana commended Bahrain’s efforts in promoting peace at both local and international levels and the significant achievements made in this field. He expressed his eagerness to establish a strategic partnership with the Institute of Public Administration to incorporate peace as a central element in training programs, contributing to the realization of comprehensive development goals.
