Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Daij Al Khalifa, the Director-General of the Institute of Public Administration, affirmed that training serves as a vital pillar for driving national progress in various domains. She further highlighted that the Institute is dedicated to preparing and enhancing national leadership across different functional levels, encompassing both the public and private sectors, through its comprehensive range of training programs.
This came during her interaction with the 30th cohort of the Executive Leadership Development Program “Qeyadat” targeting directors in the public sector and equivalent job positions within the National Leadership Government Development Program.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Al Khalifa highlighted that the training of public sector directors aims to provide them with the latest advanced methodologies across various domains. The program strives to cultivate strategic leaders capable of policy formulation and efficient team management, leading to institutional achievements aligned with strategic objectives. Furthermore, it aims to equip them with the latest knowledge, skills, and best international practices, fostering the development of the governmental work system and propelling sustainable development in the Kingdom of Bahrain through optimal investment in competent human resources.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Al Khalifa stated that the presence of such programs is essential as they represent an opportunity to enhance cooperation and coordination within the government’s framework by fostering institutional relationships among national cadres from various institutions in the public sector. These relationships, in turn, facilitate administrative procedures and lead to the development of joint initiatives benefiting the Kingdom of Bahrain. This is aimed at achieving a unified institutional work system characterized by harmony among different government entities, all dedicated to serving the nation and its citizens.
