

Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, reaffirmed the commitment to continuously empowering and developing the research capabilities of national professionals to produce studies and scientific research that contribute to the development process. She emphasized the Institute’s belief in the significance of scientific research as a fundamental element for advancement across various fields, including enhancing institutional performance quality.
Her remarks were made during her participation in the 22nd Meeting of Their Excellencies, the Directors General of Public Administration Institutes in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held in Doha, Qatar.
During the meeting, Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Al Khalifa expressed the Institute’s readiness to lead a comprehensive research study aimed at identifying research needs across GCC countries. This initiative will be conducted in collaboration with public administration institutes and their counterparts within the GCC. She highlighted that this study would serve as a reliable reference for setting research priorities, providing a clear roadmap for administrative research trends in the region. The goal is to produce high-quality scientific and administrative studies that address research gaps, meet regional needs, and enhance the knowledge base of GCC countries.
The meeting also covered several key topics aimed at strengthening partnerships and cooperation among GCC nations in the field of public administration. The recommendations included training proposals aligned with modern approaches to remote learning and training, as well as initiatives for collaboration in scientific research and knowledge exchange.
