The Director General of the Institute of Public Administration meets the Executive Director of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development in the Arab Republic of Egypt on the sidelines of MENAPAR 2023 Conference
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, stressed that the Institute is keen to strengthen bilateral cooperation with the Egyptian National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, given the existence of many common views regarding the promotion and dissemination of the culture, values and practices of sustainability and activating governance mechanisms in various fields.
Her Excellency’s statement came during her meeting with Dr. Sharifa Sherif, Executive Director of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development in the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the sidelines of the joint international conference between the Middle East and North Africa Network for Public Administration and Research (MENAPAR) and the Association for Public Policy and Public Administration in the Middle East (AMEPPA), under the title Policies, Governance and Leadership in Times of Crisis in the Middle East and North Africa, which is being held from 7th to 10th of December, organized and hosted by From the American University in Cairo
Her Excellency explained that the Institute of Public Administration seeks to enhance opportunities for scientific and research cooperation between the two sides, in order to contribute to the development of human cadres, raise their efficiency, and provide them with information, expertise and skills related to the fields of governance and sustainable development, in a way that contributes to achieving the strategic objectives aimed at improving the outputs presented.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa added that the Institute’s readiness in strengthening its partnerships with local, regional, and international institutes, institutions and organizations, and its continuance in unifying joint efforts, aims to build a unified work system based on supporting development paths in various fields by continuing to invest in institutional cadres and continue to enhance their skills and expertise.
