Her Excellency, Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, the Director General of the institute of Public Administration affirmed the importance of providing the newly joined national cadres in the public sector the basic skills for professional conduct in the work environment which will enable them to perform their duties professionally, as well as define their rights and obligations which will help them meld into the work system in the public sector.
Her Excellency’s statement came during her meeting with the 33rd batch of the “Ta’sees” program, that targets the category of new joiners in the public sector as part of the National program for the development of government leaders. During the meeting Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa stated that the “Ta’sees” program constitutes the basic building block to creating an employee who is aware of his role in the work system of the public sector from the point of leadership thinking and administrative values from the first day of his appointment.
Her Excellency added that the Program qualifies every new joiner to build his leadership personality that enables him to creat an effective work environment through his work transaction in a professional and high level of efficiency to serve the country and the citizen.
Her Excellency explained that the National Program to develop national government leadership has since its inception contributed with institutional initiatives varying from government strategies, public policies, and re-engineering institutional operations that have contributed in the development and progress of the Government work system in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
