The Director General of the Institute of Public Administration: Bahraini women are key partners in achieving sustainable development

Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Daij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration and member of the Supreme Council for Women, affirmed that Bahraini women have become a fundamental pillar of the sustainable development process and a key component in achieving Bahrain’s future vision. This is due to the care and attention they receive from His Majesty King Hamad Isa Al Khalifa, the esteemed King of the country, may Allah protect and preserve him, as well as the continuous support and follow-up from His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may Allah protect him.

The Director General of the Institute of Public Administration highly praised the pioneering role of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, may Allah protect her. She highlighted the continuous efforts of Her Royal Highness to enhance the status and progress of Bahraini women both regionally and internationally, making them a model to be emulated in empowerment and gender equality. This has been made possible through continuous support, enabling Bahraini women to achieve significant local, regional, and international accomplishments.

Her Excellency added that the celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day is an important national occasion to honor Bahraini women, recognize their achievements and roles, and highlight their significant contributions to implementing national plans and strategies aimed at advancing all sectors.

She further stated that the Institute of Public Administration works to translate the vision of wise leadership and the objectives of the Supreme Council for Women by designing and implementing training programs that promote gender equality. She emphasized that the institute is committed to providing balanced services that aim to develop the capabilities of both women and men alike, which is in line with national aspirations and support of Bahrain’s sustainable development journey.
