Dr. Zakaria Ahmed Al Khaja, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Digital Transformation at the Information & eGovernment Authority, emphasized Bahrain’s commitment to investing in national talent, recognizing them as the backbone of development and the driving force behind the nation’s progress. He highlighted the capabilities of national leaders, which play a key role in advancing institutional development.
This statement was made during a discussion session titled “Principles of Developing Laws, Regulations, and Policies in Government Work” presented to the 31st cohort of the “Qeyadat” program. The program, offered by the Institute of Public Administration as part of the National Leadership Development Program, is designed for public sector directors.
Dr. Zakaria Ahmed Al Khaja stated that such sessions organized by the Institute of Public Administration through the National Leadership Development Program for public sector employees play a key role in facilitating the exchange of accumulated knowledge and administrative practices among participants from various public institutions. Additionally, these sessions contribute to enhancing development and prosperity by anticipating the future of government operations in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, highlighted that the Institute’s national team is focused on designing programs and initiatives that align with its strategy to become a hub for leadership thought and administrative development. She added that the National Leadership Development Program is one of the Institute’s flagship programs, designed with diverse learning methods, including insights from the experiences of national leaders. This approach has helped leverage successful administrative practices to create new and innovative initiatives and projects that meet current needs and future aspirations.
