Director General of the Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) HE Dr. Raed bin Shams stated that BIPA’s joining the National Suggestions and Complaints System (Tawasul) emphasizes the Institute’s insistence to promote the principle of transparency and the activation of the culture of interaction between BIPA’s audience and those in charge of training, advisory and research services offered by the Institute, this came after the Institute joined Tawasul system in collaboration with the e-government authority within the directives of His Royal Highness The Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Dr. Shams pointed out that Tawasul is one of the channels for communications and interactions with the public to know the difficulties they face in the services provided by BIPA, which will contribute mainly to the development of work, in addition to receiving their proposals, which will be the subject of study and application as deemed suiting Institute’s trends, especially since Tawasul system is an important step for the integration of the package of government services and providing services around the clock and interaction with the public.
Dr. Shams indicated that this system allows working according to the feedback standard which is a modern concept in the training process, that aims to involve trainees in the evaluation of all the services offered by the institute and officials, pointing out that this system helps those who are in charge of the training programs and courses at the Institute to obtain trainees’ proposals, observations and complaints and study them to meet their aspirations of the Institute services.
