The Palestinian Prime Minister Dr. Rami Alhamd-Allah praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalif, in defending the just cause of Palestine, the continued support of the Kingdom of Bahrain's leadership, government and people at all levels, and standing by all means behind the establishment of an independent Palestinian state and Jerusalem as its capital, stressing that this firm Bahraini stance towards the state of Palestine helps in the continuation of the steadfastness of the Palestinian people. This came during a meeting with the Director General of the Institute of Public Administration “BIPA” Dr. Raed Mohammed bin Shams in Ramallah yesterday, in the presence of the head of the General Personnel Council (GPC) of the State of Palestine, Minister Mossa Abu-Zaid.
Dr. Raed bin Shams, who is currently on a visit to the state of Palestine, heading a delegation from “BIPA”, to participate in the international conference “Development of Civil Service in Palestine: experiences, challenges and risks,” which takes place in Ramallah, expressed the willingness and readiness of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the leadership, government and people, always and forever, to help the brotherly Palestinian people to overcome their ordeal and the establishment of their independent state, in accordance with the relevant United Nations’ resolutions and activation of the Arab peace initiative and the resolutions of the international Quartet Committee, praising the depth and strength of the good brotherly relations that bind the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
Dr. Raed pointed out that Bahrain will always be proactive and effective in its quest with the international community to achieve the uncompromised rights for the Palestinian people, adding that his visit to the state of Palestine comes in the context of the deep-rooted fraternal historical relations between the two brotherly peoples in all fields, particularly in terms of the exchange of experiences in the areas of civil service and public administration and research, under the light of the signing of a memorandum of understanding in April last year in 2013 between BIPA and GPC in the State of Palestine, and the agreement between the two sides on the transfer of BIPA’s experience in the design of leadership programs for benefiting the Palestinian side, and also BIPA to design a number of e-training programs for the Palestinian GPC, as well as the initiation of mutual exchange of experiences in the field of consultations and administration research.
It is worth mentioning that the Bahraini delegation headed by Dr. Raed Shams has conducted a number of meetings during their visit to the State of Palestine with the governor of the city of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, the governor of Hebron and deputy governor of the Bethlehem, as well as the Palestinian Minister of Health.
