His excellency, Dr. Raed Mohammed Bin Shams, the Director General of Bahrain Institute for Public Administration (BIPA), affirmed that the institute’s winning of the Excellence award in Customer Communication at the Government Forum 2019, which was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, and at the initiative of His Royal Highness, Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, is a result of the Institute’s efforts to manifest the vision presented at the Forum for the last 3 years to attain the aspirations of the citizen who is the center of development.
Dr. Bin Shams, explained that the Government Forum endeavors continuously to achieve the goals etched in the Government Program, in line with the Kingdom’s Economic vision 2030 by outlining the mechanisms of government action, which put the citizen at the top of the priorities of government action, hence all Government institutions, ministries and employers unite their efforts and focus on the aspirations of citizens by raising the level of government service provided.
Dr. Bin Shams stated that, this year’s Government Forum comes in completion with the Government bodies’ efforts to attain comprehensive sustainable development in addition to bolstering plans to work on projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the socio-economic and cultural infrastructure in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He pointed out that the objectives and the outcomes of the Government Forum are in harmony with the initiatives and projects that are executed by the Institute of Public Administration that aim to enhance the efficiency of Government services and to enhance the Government work system in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Dr. Bin Shams noted that, the Institute of Public Administration continues to strive to achieve the Government Program 2019-2022, which has been discussed at the Government Forum as part of the bolstering the Kingdom’s development and growth plans. He added the Institute is working currently to implement a number of initiatives that meet the aspirations of the citizens to receive outstanding government services.
