Her Excellency Dr. Shaika Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute for Public Administration (IPA), reiterated the organisation’s unwavering commitment to continually offer diverse leadership programmes that align with the evolving needs of both public and private sector entities. These programmes adhere to the highest international standards and contribute to achieving the Kingdom’s aspirations and directives aimed at solidifying the role of national talent as a primary engine for development across both sectors.
Her Excellency’s remarks came during the closing ceremony of the second edition of IPA’s leadership programme delivered to the Bahrain Development Bank (BDB)’s staff. The programme concluded following intensive training sessions and workshops aimed at honing their leadership skills, project management expertise, innovative acumen, design thinking approaches, and problem-solving capabilities.
Extending her congratulations to all the distinguished graduates, Ms. Dalal Al Qais, Group Chief Executive Officer of BDB said, “We commend the programme participants for their exceptional performance. By leveraging the diverse skills acquired during the programme, they were able to develop innovative projects that will contribute to enhancing our operations, thereby allowing us to elevate our customer experience.”
She added, “Our partnership with IPA in designing and implementing this programme directly supports BDB’s vision of developing our workforce, bolstering leadership capabilities, and cultivating a strong management team.
