

The Equal Opportunity Committee at the Institute of Public Administration held its third periodic meeting of the year, chaired by Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute. The meeting included a review and discussion of the committee’s strategic plan for 2024-2025, as well as an overview of achievements made to enhance opportunities for advancing women within various departments and divisions of the Institute.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Al Khalifa stated that the committee has developed several proposals aimed at building and developing the leadership capabilities of Bahraini women in both the public and private sectors. Additionally, a comprehensive plan is being prepared to introduce several programs and courses as part of the 2025 training plan to strengthen women’s leadership roles and ensure sustainable efforts to empower them in enhancing institutional outcomes.
The meeting also included discussions on a range of initiatives and proposals aimed at continuing efforts to support and encourage policies that promote gender balance programs. These initiatives align with the principle of equal opportunity and contribute to improving institutional performance.
