

Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, affirmed the continued efforts to implement the directives of the Supreme Council for Women, chaired by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, may Allah protect her. These efforts aim to achieve gender balance across all initiatives and various projects.
This came during her chairing of the first meeting of the Equal Opportunities Committee at the Institute for the year 2025. The meeting discussed initiatives related to the implementation of the national plan, as well as internal initiatives that aim to promote equality and ensure fairness in the work environment, confirming the Institute’s commitment to applying gender balance standards in all its programs and initiatives.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Al Khalifa added that the Institute is keen on developing integrated mechanisms to support and enhance the leadership capabilities of Bahraini women in both the public and private sectors, contributing to their advancement and improving institutional outcomes.
The meeting also discussed a range of ideas and proposals focused on identifying the needs of women at the Institute in a way that promotes equal opportunities and supports incentive policies for gender balance programs, in addition to improving the work environment for the Institute’s employees.
