Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, stressed the importance of adapting the training sector to the needs and requirements of the current and future labour market, since the training sector plays a pivotal role in developing the competencies and skills of human cadres in general and empowering Bahraini youth in particular, based on to the highest standards, which would improve the institutional work system in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Her Excellency’s statement came during her meeting with the members of the “Kheberat” program aimed at building the capacities of young Bahraini searching for jobs and experience, this program comes in cooperation with a number of strategic partners in the public and private sectors, represented by the Ministry of Labour, Jafcon, and Hope Talent.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa explained that the “Kheberat” program comes in line with the Institute’s training plans aimed at empowering Bahraini youth in line with government directives aimed at offering Bahraini youth cumulative theoretical and applied experiences, qualifying them to lead the wheel of development in the public and private sectors. She pointed out that the program is an opportunity to open new paths for Bahraini youth to enter the labour market, and to secure jobs in line with their specializations as well as their scientific and practical abilities.
Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa stated that the “Kheberat” program is currently a quasi-Professional experience that includes the theoretical and practical aspects, during which the trainees go through a period of actual on-the-job training, which includes providing them with the best scientific and applied experiences, and professional certificates that make them the first choice for the local labour market in the public and private sectors. Her Excellency further explained that the program’s aim today is to empower young Bahraini job seekers by developing their learning skills and providing them with expertise from private sector institutions, she added that the “Kheberat” program is an interactive training program that combines the professional, leadership, and specialized training needed by the Bahraini youth with practical training based on applied projects.
