Dr. Raed Mohammed Bin Shams the Director General of Bahrain Institute of Public Administration, BIPA, affirmed that the Bahraini youth today participates with full effectiveness in building the future and leading the Kingdom of Bahrain towards the horizon of development and prosperity and achieving the National Development goals.
His Excellency was pointing to the “HiPO” project for the development of leadership capabilities that contributes in preparing and rehabilitating the new generation of leaders suitable to administer the government work in the future.
He said the program provides them with the opportunity to build distinguished cumulative experiences and introduces them to the best scientific and applied management methodologies and practices.
This came during the virtual meeting that brought together Dr. Raed Mohammed bin Shams with the members of the “HiPO” program, as the program allows its members during its session between August and September 2020 to meet with influential executive leaders with a footprint in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Dr. Bin Shams said that introduction and familiarization of the members of the “HiPO” program to the various experiences of the government leaders in Bahrain forms the fundamental pillar of the process of building distinguished adminiatrative experiences for the youth since it will enable them in future to utilize these when practicing administrative jobs and come out with national initiatives and projects which will contribute to enhancing the government work system and bolster the Kingdom’s stature in the map of the nations supporting sustainable development.
Dr. Bin Shams explained further that the “HiPO” program may be considered the first step of the ladder of Progress in the Public Administration system in the Kingdom of Bahrain, whereby the program offers excellent opportunities to the youth to create change and formulate innovative ideas and creative initiatives to be presented to the decision makers. It also enables the participants to build a network of relationships with their colleagues and other affiliates of the public sector, and in addition provide them with opportunities to apply their skills and scientific and practical matter and practical knowledge as per the futuristic administrative trends through practical projects and applications required of them to pass the program.
