Dr. Bin Shams: The Kingdom of Bahrain has proven its ability to manage the oldest International organization for Public Administration and enhance the field of Administration with a global Vision
His Excellency, Dr. Raed Mohammed Bin Shams, the Director General of Bahrain Institute for Public Administration (BIPA), and President of the International Institute for Administrative Sciences (IIAS), affirmed that the comprehensive vision of His Majesty, King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa the ruler of the country, May Allah protect him, and the Governmental insight of His Royal Highness, Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, May Allah Protect him, has elevated the status of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the global competitiveness ranking in a number of fields.
He pointed out that the Kingdom of Bahrain has proven its ability in managing the oldest International organization for Public Administration and developing its outputs through the presidency of the International Organization and all its affiliated organizations around the world. Adding that for the first time in the history of the oldest International organization, the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) has headed the General Secretariat of International Institute for Administrative Sciences (IIAS).
His Excellency Dr. Raed’s statement came during his attendance of the virtual ceremony held on the 90-year anniversary of the establishment of the International Institute for Administrative Sciences (IIAS).
Dr. Bin Shams explained, that the Institute for Public Administration (BIPA) has been able during its presidency, of the International Institute for Administrative Sciences (IIAS), to develop the administrative work with an International vision that rises to the level of the international expectations, through developing the international agenda in the field of Public Administration, and enhance the quality and efficiency of the government outputs and researches in the field of public administration in particular, by continuous global networking efforts and endeavors to unite regional and International efforts in order to meet global expectations. He added that the Kingdom of Bahrain, was able to use its capabilities to face the financial challenges and generate revenues through innovative ways to bolster the financial situation of the International Institute for Administrative Sciences (IIAS) by helping it overcome its financial challenges and find innovative solutions to generate revenues, and actually did contribute in raising the revenues of the International institute.
Dr. Bin Shams added that creating an electronic platform for organizing International conferences and holding an International Administrative event virtually are also some of the major achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain during its tenure as head of the International Institute for Administrative Sciences (IIAS). He said this electronic platform will provide opportunity for all researchers and all who are concerned with public Administration and the IIAs officials from around the world to attend all the events of the International Institute for Administrative Sciences (IIAS) and benefit from the workshops, lectures and forums virtually. This achievement will no doubt contribute in increased number of participants from countries, organizations and institutions as well as individuals and bolster the research and Administrative outputs, which will reflect later on in the accomplishment of the International research agenda in order to raise the status of humankind in various quarters of the world.
