His Excellency Dr. Raed Mohammed Bin Shams, the Director General of Bahrain Institute for Public Administration (BIPA) stressed on the importance of supporting the youth and qualifying them to lead the process of development and progress in both the public and private sector systems.
He added that this support emanates from the comprehensive vision of His Majesty and the forward-looking directions of the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the exceptional support of His Highness Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian works and Youth Affairs.
His excellency’s statement came on the occasion of his meeting with the participants of the Advanced National Leadership Program “HIPO Youth” in its 4th edition that was launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs and Bahrain Institute for Public Administration (BIPA).
Dr. Bin Shams explained that the program comes today to keep abreast of future directions of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and it enables the youth to enhance their leadership skills and to discover their abilities to accomplish local and regional achievements, by providing them with scientific methodologies and practical applications, in addition to learning about Bahrain’s inspiring leadership role models through interactive meetings.
His excellency pointed out that the Institute for Public Administration (BIPA) is keen to include youth initiatives and projects in its strategy and plans in order to serve the youth and meet the national aspirations aimed at making Bahraini youth the main engine and responsible persons for national development, by employing innovation and creativity to come up with services that live up to the aspirations of the citizens.
His Excellency pointed out that the youth participating in the previous editions contributed to the preparation of distinguished national outputs represented by 25 youth projects and initiatives that serve vital sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain such as the health and education sector, and three national studies were prepared by the youth for the youth, related to the pillars of youth work and youth talents. These outputs reflect the actual role of Bahraini youth and their achievements aimed at advancing the Kingdom of Bahrain at various levels.
