

Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, received His Excellency Mr. Shazryl Zahiran, Ambassador of friendly Malaysia to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, Her Excellency emphasized the ongoing development and progress of bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Malaysia across various fields. She highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration and exchanging expertise, particularly in the areas of administrative sciences development, which reflects the shared strategic visions and aspirations for achieving developmental goals in both friendly countries.
Her Excellency also praised the tangible efforts of His Excellency Mr. Shazryl Zahiran in continuing to open broader horizons for joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of scientific research. She commended his dedication to supporting developmental projects and initiatives aimed at shaping administrative policies and decision-making.

Brief about the Institute:
The Institute was established by Decree No. 65 of 2006, issued by His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain on June 28, 2006. It is a government entity affiliated with the Cabinet.
In line with its responsibilities, the Institute of Public Administration works to enhance government performance in areas such as policies, strategies, resource management, change management, and the development of government services. This is achieved through skill development, behavior enhancement, and knowledge acquisition via learning and training. Additionally, the Institute contributes to decision-making through consulting, problem-solving using scientific research methods, and capacity-building through assessment and personal coaching. Furthermore, the Institute promotes awareness and fosters a culture of government performance through strategic communication.
His Excellency Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Minister of Information, today received His Excellency Mr. Shazryl Zahiran, Ambassador of friendly Malaysia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the Ministry’s headquarters.
During the meeting, His Excellency the Minister of Information praised the close friendship and cooperation relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Malaysia, and the ongoing development of these ties at all levels, driven by the mutual commitment of both countries to further enhance and advance relations in a way that serves the interests of both friendly nations and their peoples.
For his part, His Excellency the Ambassador of Malaysia expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Information for the warm welcome, affirming his country’s keenness to strengthen areas of cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain in all fields that contribute to achieving the shared aspirations of the two nations.
