

Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, met with Engineer Suleiman Bin Ali Al Mahrouqi, Director of the “Future of Work in Government for GCC Countries” program, to discuss and explore avenues for enhancing cooperation between the Institute and the Royal Academy of Management. The focus was on implementing several initiatives, most notably the “Future of Work in Government for GCC Countries” program, which aims to empower and train national and Gulf cadres, thereby achieving Gulf visions and strategies in sustainability and human resource development.
During the meeting, Dr. Shaikha Rana emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership with the Royal Academy of Management in the Sultanate of Oman in hosting the second in-person component of the “Future of Work in Government for GCC Countries” program. She noted that this collaboration would positively impact the enhancement of government leaders’ abilities to address current and future challenges and changes. Additionally, it would provide a common platform for exchanging experiences among participating leaders from various Gulf countries. She also praised the success of the first in-person component of the program, which was held in the Sultanate of Oman.
For his part, Engineer Suleiman bin Ali Al Mahrouqi expressed his keenness to strengthen existing cooperation with the Institute of Public Administration across various projects and training initiatives. He highlighted that such collaboration contributes to expanding the scope of knowledge and experience exchange in various fields and offers the best training programs for national and Gulf leaders, thereby fulfilling shared Gulf aspirations.
