

Director General of the Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) Dr. Raed Mohammed bin Shams met yesterday the Tunisian Ambassador Zain El-Abideen Al-Teras, in the context of strengthening means of joint cooperation between BIPA and the Tunisian National School of Administration. The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation in the field of training, consultancy, studies and research, which contributes to the preparation of national leaders and cadres, according to advanced training programs, followed by developing government work and upgrade the level of services provided to citizens.
This all is emanating from BIPA's trust that the Kingdom of Bahrain is on the verge of a new era of work in the field of development of public administration in the Middle East, where the Kingdom of Bahrain has become a major gateway to the Gulf and Arab regions for the research of Public Administration, in light of launching Middle East Public Administration Research Group under the name (MEPAR), which is considered the largest gathering network of practitioners, researchers and institutions in the field of public administration in the Middle East.
It is worth mentioning that BIPA is giving a great importance to the issue of quality and excellence in the preparation of leaders and cadres in the government sector, as BIPA in this regard has developed and implemented a number of strategies that will contribute to the development of government action and increase awareness of the importance of policy-making based on evidence and scientific research, and ways of application on the ground, including the signing of a number of partnerships and agreements with regional and international centers interested and specialized in this field in order to exchange experiences and learn and benefit from international best practices.
