Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa, the Director General of the Institute of Public Administration affirmed that the Institute through its strategic partnerships endeavors to invest in the national cadres by providing them the best and advanced skills that match the developmental requirements of the current and future phases, and that will bolster their active contributions to the comprehensive development process.
Her Excellency’s statement came on the occasion of her meeting with Her Excellency Karima Mohammed Al Abbasi the Secretary General of the Shura Council, when her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa said the institute is in the process of providing a series of training programs to the national cadres at the General Secretariat of the Shura Council bolstering the concept of continuous learning and training based on the highest international standards. She added that the institute is currently working on redesigning all its training programs and upgrading them in line with the actual training requirements and the fast changes witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain
For her part Her Excellency the Secretary General of the Shura Council Karima Mohammed Al Abbasi stated the continued partnership with the Institute in designing and developing the programs presented to the Shura Council comes in line with the directives of His Excellency Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh the Chairman of the Shura Council that reflects his keenness to transform His Majesty the King’s (May Allah protect him) directives to strengthen the cooperation between the legislative authority and the executive authority at various levels. She added that the General Secretariat of the Shura Council’s strategy and plans gives special attention to empowering the national cadres at the Council and speeding up the development by benefiting from the training services provided by various establishments among them the training and programs offered by the Institute of Public Administration to keep pace with the local requirements based on the highest international standards.
The Secretary-general lauded the the level of benefits that were attained in the past years through various programs that the affiliates of the shura Council participated in, in various fields that have contributed in developing their skills and strengthening their abilities.
