His Excellency Dr. Raed Mohammed Bin Shams, the Director General of the Bahrain Institute for Public Administration (BIPA), affirmed the importance of the specialized programs for preparing certified Bahraini trainers who are familiar with the requirements and needs of the training process, as well as abreast of the current and future changes and developments, which will make them the premier choice in the training sector not only on the local level but also on a global level.
His Excellency’s statement came on the occasion of the closing ceremony of the First edition of Training the Professional Trainer (TOT) Program for the establishments in both the Public and Private sectors as well as for individuals.
During the program the participants were provided with a variety of specialized knowledge and sciences and practical skills that contributed directly in enabling the participants to provide the best training services as per the recognized international standards.
Dr. Ben Shams added that the Program to Prepare the Professional Trainer (TOT) has been designed by Bahraini efficiencies from the Bahrain Institute for Public Administration (BIPA), and has based its design on international models and local studies based on the study of the practical training needs in both the private and public sectors of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Excellency explained that the main focus of the design of the program was the development of the educational materials and the training packages as the skill to create knowledgeable content constitutes a basic need for the Bahraini Trainer in particular. His Excellency Dr. Ben Shams pointed out that the Program to train the Professional Trainer (TOT) is one of the programs tha the Institute for Public Administration will be providing on a regular basis in light of the continuous need to prepare and develop the national training cadres able to handle the local needs and transfer their expertise and knowledge to the training community in order to create a system of certified local trainers in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Excellency added that the institute will once again present the program in the coming month of July , hence the employees of the government sector can register in the program via their training specialists wher as the employees from the private sector and individuals they may register by filling out the registration forms available on the website: https://www.bipa.gov.bh/totprogram/ .
