Seef District – Bahrain Institute of Public Administration:
The Bahrain Institute of Public Administration Received 20 trainees from various government agencies of the 7th batch of basic level graduates of the Project Management Program which was designed in collaboration with, following a thorough study of local experiences in the area of project management in order to identify problems and challenges facing workers in this field.
The aim of the program – which was concluded on 26th June – was to identify the basic components of the structure of government projects and training on the processes and practices of project management, dealing with key elements, such as planning, costing and quality, In addition to project execution skills, how to employ communication and cooperation, manage contractual projects through monitoring, reporting and full integration among elements of the projects.
The project management program focuses on basic knowledge and skills in project management and includes 7 courses addressing the governance of projects, active participation in the planning, management of project requirements, and understanding of procurement and contracts, as well as communication and cooperation in the projects, and finally the team's performance and project management tools.
It is worth mentioning that the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration is offering government project management program (basic level), as a key requirement to register for the program management of government projects (professional level), which aims to provide insights and advanced knowledge in the nature of the processes related to project management.
