With a view to charting a roadmap for the administrative development strategy in the Republic of Sudan, the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) performed a research consultation for preparation and organization of a strategic leadership conference designed to groom Sudanese leaderships capable of making decisions and production of government policies that are built on academic research for management of development and promotion of the Sudanese government operations system in a way that would realize its strategic objectives toward global leadership.
During his meeting with Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Hamid, Assistant to the President of the Sudanese Republic, His Excellency Raed Mohammed Bin Shams, Director-General of Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA), stated that the primary objective of the strategic leadership conference which will be held in the Sudan will empower the top management in the Sudanese government to perform its role and duties in a manner conducive to confronting the challenges, pooling the capabilities and energies needed to achieve the development objectives and targets in the Republic of Sudan. He added that the conference will consist of a number of workshops to be organized on the margin of the conference which are designed to enable the leaders operating in the field of training and development for the government sector in the Republic of Sudan to acquire qualitative and fresh knowledge and expertise in the field of training and development in a way that would contribute to development of their professional and behavioural capabilities in the field of their training expertise in the government sector in the Sudan.
Dr. Bin Shams stated that the Public Administration Institute is today, thanks to its expertise and knowhow, is capable of building government leaders who have the capacity to promote the government operations system in the Arab nation and that BIPA has assumed its pioneering regional role in offering international research consultations, propelled by its values of inspiring leadership that transcend mere expectations. He highlighted the fact that the Institute has, after the elapse of 11 years since its inception, acquired global presence owing to the training and research programs and services offerings that met with the approval and acceptance by all organizations, unions and institutions concerned with public administration.
