Following up on the efforts aimed at raising the capabilities of national cadres and to provide them with the necessary skills that contribute to achieving the national aspirations, the Institute for Public Administrations (BIPA) launches the leadership program “Tatweer” in cooperation with Tatweer Petroleum company.
The program comprises a number of administrative and leadership themes aimed at raising the capacity of national cadres in the private sector, whereby these courses are designed based on scientific methodologies that bolster the concept of innovation and simulates in its content the main indicators of the company’s objectives.
His excellency, Dr. Raed Mohammed Bin Shams, the Director General of the Bahrain Institute for Public Administration (BIPA), affirmed the importance of developing the national leadership in the private and public sectors which will contribute to the merging of the two sectors for a unified goal of meeting the national aspirations and raising the excellence of the services provided to the citizens and improving the national economy. He added that the Institute strives through its current and future programs and initiatives to chart a balanced direction approach for the needs of both the sectors which will make the national leaderships an effective contributor in the national development plans.
Dr. Bin Shams explained that the program was designed by the Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) to develop Bahraini competencies in Tatweer Petroleum Company by providing scientific curricula and the best applied practices, that will raise the leadership skills which in turn reflects in the quality of performance and the standard of services provided to citizens in the Kingdom of Bahrain. .
His Excellency pointed out that the program comprises of two levels that will focus on the actual needs of the employee according to the level of his job. His Excellency stressed that the program would contribute to the development of the work framework in the private sector and meet the needs by forming a work culture based on sound administrative and leadership foundations.
For his part, Engineer Ghassan Ali Al Muhanna, the Acting Managing Director for Tatweer Petroleum Company stated that Tatweer Petroleum company always strives to raise the standards of its employee and enable him to achieve the objectives of the company and execute the vision and strategic directions of the Kingdom of Bahrain with perfection and excellence.
Eng. Ghassan Ali Al-Muhanna stressed that the wise leadership has drawn a clear national approach based on national energies to improve the administrative work system and achieve the sustainable development goals. He lauded the role of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oil and Gas Holding Company, in developing a youth vision aimed at developing national cadres to manage the development process with a spirit of creativity and excellence.
