Ayda Ali Bin Rajab, Senior Director of Strategic Planning and Quality Assurance at the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration “BIPA” has stated BIPA’s success in obtaining the international ISO 9001:2015 certification is an evidence of its compliance with the global quality standards in administrative systems and processes, and its permanent pursuit of continuous improvement to introduce the best services after it had passed all phases of assessment required by the International Standards Organization.
Ayda Bin Rajab explained that the new standard focuses on increasing integration between the quality standards and BIPA’s strategic direction in addition to meeting the customers’ requirements through developing performance based on the analysis and assessment process and encouraging the risk-taking thinking. This in turn improves BIPA’s general performance in line with its strategic direction. She also stressed that obtaining the new standard certification, after the ISO 9001:2008 in 2017, was part of the continuous development plans for administrative systems and BIPA was successful in completing them perfectly.
ISO 9001:2015 certification is an international recognition of BIPA’s quality management systems in compliance with the international standards. It establishes a controlled framework for the processes, policies, procedures, record keeping, and improving service quality as part of a system, which achieves customers’ satisfaction and meets their requirements. It also meets the applicable legislative and legal requirements through effective implementation of the highest quality management standards.
