As part of the Bahrain Institute for Public Administration’s Program; ) a number of Assessors have qualified as certified assessors to be able to provide assessment services to public Sector employees

The Director of the Department of Assessment at the Bahrain Institute for Public Administration (BIPA), Mrs. Ghada Mohammed Shanaa, affirmed the importance of continued development of national leaders and to provide them with the necessary skills and abilities needed to cope with the current requirements and future needs, aimed at the advancement of the outputs presented, in order to push the wheel of development and the national economy to higher levels.
Her statement came on the occasion of the Institute for Public Administration BIPA in cooperation with Talogy Corporation, of the launch of the Program (Qualification of the Accredited Assessor for the PAPI 3+ Psychometric Assessment tool), which aims to prepare and qualify accredited assessors able to present feedback sessions and able to explain the points of strength and development in the personalities of the participants.
The Director of the Department of Assessment, pointed out that the Institute for Public Administration has qualified and prepared a number of accredited assessors and has granted them the accredited professional Certification, to enable them to provide assessment services for the employees in various sectors and to present them with the necessary skills to understand the various types of personalities and to analyze them and develop them through methodologies and mechanisms which will assist them to uncover their points of strength and the challenges before them and therefore be able to carry out the process of development and improvement.
She further explained that the main objective of the program is to prepare and qualify accredited assessors who are able to provide effective feedback sessions by means of providing the participants with skills and tools necessary to understand the individuals personality at work, which will contribute to the development of the individual in the career path and provide and environment that enables them to provide high quality services that live up to the citizens aspirations.
It is worth mentioning that the Institute for Public Administration BIPA, has just recently adopted the Psychometric Assessment Test PAPI 3+ provided by the Talogy Corporation, which is an Internationally recognized test for evaluating the Personality skills and work details of Individuals. This test was selected based on scientific research for the best Psychometric Evaluation tools founded on a set of specific criteria to be part of the list of Psychometric tests provided by BIPA to various establishments in both the Private and Public as well as individuals as part of the services of the Assessment and Counseling Department.
