

Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, affirmed the deep-rooted historical ties and fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. She highlighted the commitment, care, and attention of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the esteemed King of Bahrain, and his brother, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, to strengthening relations between the two brotherly nations in various fields.
Her Excellency also pointed out the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, and his brother, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, in continuing to develop cooperation and integration efforts that meet the aspirations and ambitions of both nations and their people.
This statement came on the occasion of the signing of a joint framework for cooperation between the Institute of Public Administration and the Government Empowerment Department in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration and exchange knowledge and expertise in designing, developing, and implementing training and development programs for government sector employees. Representing the Institute of Public Administration in signing the framework was Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute, while the Government Empowerment Department was represented by His Excellency Dr. Yasser Ahmed Al Naqbi, Director General of the Government Academy.
Her Excellency emphasized the importance of continued cooperation, as it is essential for advancing the institutional work system in both brotherly nations. She also noted that the Institute of Public Administration is committed to designing and developing its programs and services in line with evolving training needs and rapid changes in government work, adhering to the highest international standards.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Yasser Ahmed Al Naqbi, Director General of the Government Academy under the Government Empowerment Department in Abu Dhabi, highlighted the department’s commitment to developing leadership programs for national cadres, contributing to enhancing their knowledge and expertise. He stated that the joint work with the Institute of Public Administration will be based on a scientific and professional methodology, including training courses, workshops, lectures, educational and discussion meetings, as well as scientific seminars and conferences. He emphasized that the ultimate goal is to achieve excellence in supporting government work.
Additionally, he noted that the Government Empowerment Department continuously seeks to benefit from successful international practices to facilitate knowledge exchange, share experiences, and integrate modern administrative insights into government work.
