The president of the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) and Board Chairman of the Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) Ahmed bin Zayed Al-Zayed praised the achievements attained by the Institute over the past years; and in different domains at the local and regional levels, pointing out that the Board of Directors is proud to lead such an important edifice, which began creating change in the government performance, where the Institute trained 35.5% of public sector employees in the Kingdom of Bahrain; by providing them with the required capabilities and skills, and regionally through the establishment of a Middle East and North Africa Network for Public Administration Research (MINAPAR). As well as the Institute has obtained the trust of many governmental and non-governmental institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab countries, to provide consultation services, calling upon the institute to maintain its excellence and initiatives to raise the level of government performance and take the lead in the public administration field in the region .. This came during Al-Zayed patronizing the ceremony to honor BIPA’s staff who obtained the annual incentives and bonuses.
BIPA’s Director General HE Dr. Raed Mohammed bin Shams expressed thanks to Mr. Al-Zayed for patronizing the annual ceremony for honoring employees, praising the vital role played by the Board of Directors in stimulating the Institute to achieve its strategic objectives for the next upcoming stage, in the light of the growing and urgent requirements for the development and advancement of the public administration sector; as being the most important pillar for improving the government performance in all ministries and agencies of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
On the other hand, the Institute annual ceremony was attended by the board members as follows: Director of Information Technology and Knowledge at the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) Mr. Adnan Abdul-Razaq Al-Mahmoud, Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Finance Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed Hassan, Assistant Undersecretary for Training and Planning at the Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammed Ameen Al-Awadhi, and Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources at the Ministry of Education Dr. Mohammed Mubarak Juma, who expressed pride in BIPA’s reaching the lead of the specialization in the Arab world, as an international expert institution as acknowledged by the professional international organizations and civil society institutions, especially since the Institute has left a clear imprint in the development of this field, through its extended projects and strategic partnerships around the world, stressing their support for the institute to achieve upcoming successes to uplift high the flag of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
It is worth mentioning that the board members paid an inspection visit to the Institute’s various departments to get to know the staff and grasp the progress of the work, concerning the services provided by the Institute i.e. training, research, consultation and evaluation.
