Mr. Ishaq Amin Al Koohiji, the Executive Director of Development and Education at the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration “BIPA”, announced that BIPA had launched its 2018 training plan including 6 training programs, which formed part of the National Leadership Development Program. These 6 programs have full financial support to enroll more than 1,500 government officials and employees of various sectors, specializations and levels. The Program is a sum-up of the best administrative practices based on scientific methodology that aims at realizing citizens’ aspirations for advanced services and supportive policies that include the most important concepts of optimum management and leadership of resources, the culture of continuous change, and creativity for development.
Al Koohiji explained that the National Leadership Development Program (which is made up of a series of the following leadership programs: Ta’sis, Bina, Takween, Kawadir, Qiyadat, Alqiyadah Al’ulya, in addition to Alnukhba Program) as specially designed by Bahrainis for BIPA to fit the training requirements of the government sector and contribute to the development of officials capable of pushing forward sustainable development in the Kingdom of Bahrain by playing a leading role in the government apparatus in a most efficient manner particularly that the Program includes all job levels of starting employees, specialists, senior specialists, division heads, directors/managers, assistant deputies, and deputies.
Al Koohiji pointed that to register for the Program, an applicant has to access BIPA’s electronic registration system (TMS) through the authorized training and HR officers in the government agencies and organizations.
