The Director-General of the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA), Dr. Raed Mohammed Bin Shams, has emphasized BIPA’s endeavours to achieve Government aspirations and to implement BIPA’s 2016-2018 strategy within the framework of the Government’s existing vision of “Advanced Government Performance for Sustainable Development”. Dr. Bin Shams said that BIPA’s Board of Directors and all associated members take the opportunity of the Anniversary of the Accession Day of His Majesty the King to renew their allegiance and commitment to continue their duties of promoting Government performance and of supporting Bahrain’s economic and social plans. They also promise to achieve the sought-after aspirations for the service of the loyal Bahraini citizens.
This statement was made by the Director-General on the occasion of Bahrain’s National Day celebrations and of His Majesty’s Anniversary of Accession Day. Dr. Bin Shams extended sincere greetings and congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, to His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, the Prime Minister, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander-in-Chief and First Deputy Prime Minister, and wished them continued progress.
Dr. Bin Shams has valued the support received from the wise political leadership and from the Government in investing in human capital through training. “Such investment is designed to transform the Kingdom to the level of advanced countries”, he said. “This support contributes to ensuring success of all training programs provided by BIPA to the public sector, through which BIPA is eager to ensure transparency, respect, excellence, teamwork , discipline and professionalism”, he added.
Dr. Bin Shams explained that BIPA has witnessed a leapfrog since its inception ten years ago. “Today, BIPA is capable of leading Bahrain’s developmental progress in various sectors and areas”, he said. “This is achieved through strategic objectives, which are designed to contribute to developing services to meet aspirations and to promoting administration and management of human resources to carry out their functions professionally”, he explained.
Dr. Bin Shams concluded by renewing BIPA’s endeavours to make every effort and to work tiredly to meet ambitions of the wise political leadership in satisfying training needs for all Government Ministries and organizations. “All of us work for the promotion of the citizens who are the main element of development”, he said.
