At his meeting with Keys Program students delegation visiting the leadership preparation center, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration (BIPA), HE Dr. Raed Mohammed bin Shams emphasized the great responsibility resting with the youth for developing our beloved Kingdom, referring to the significance of building and preparing young leaderships for accessing work market and for taking part in the government institutions toward the realization of the aspirations of the nation and citizens. He also stated that all the components of society are involved in decision making regardless the different position each occupies; everyone is capable to play the role of a leader in its specific domain, believing that patriotism is the main drive for any activity because nation development is deeply rooted in individual's development. In his reference to the essential role young people play in driving the various sectors, Bin Shams stressed the importance of youth leadership capacity building and the significance of directing young people to the best methods to refine their skills and make use of their potentials and gifts. He added that these youth-directed programs and activities offered by the General Organization for Youth and Sports (GOYS) in the framework of the Youth City 2030 event constitute an essential significant part in assisting young people in serving society and getting involved in and identify the nature of government institutions. The program delegation had a presentation made by the Leadership Development at BIPA, wherein BIPA's achievements and strategy directed to prepare and develop government leaderships and institutional professional ethics were introduced. E-training services offered by BIPA in the context of the policy of spreading the awareness of training on this field-specific latest technological updates were further reviewed at the meeting.
