In the framework of the contribution of the Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) in supporting the voluntary work in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and promoting the role of youth in the community, the Institute participated in the activities of the “Manama, the capital of the Arab youth 2015” by holding barriers breaking program for the participants of the 7th international youth conference entitled “Media and the Culture of the Youth”, recently organized by the General Organization for Youth and Sports (GOYS) under the patronage of the representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of the Bahraini Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The holding of this program emanated from BIPA’s belief in the importance of developing youth sector and providing the necessary training programs, in addition to that the Institute sought through these programs to activate community partnership with various government institutions and agencies in order to achieve the aspirations of the government to enrich the training programs and provide all the training requirements necessary for the various sectors of society.
The Institute’s education and development directorate offered ice breaking program to bring together the participants in the conference through breaking the barriers in existence between them and encourage them to communicate with each other, the program included a series of mental exercises and games which aim at creating the right atmosphere and provide a real opportunity for spreading the awareness about the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab and the international youth, Bahrain development and growth in various fields, and the Kingdom's features of rich history and creative culture and being a leading experience in the field of caring and supporting the youth movement at the Arab level.
For their part, the participants in the barriers breaking program praised the program contents which contributed to strengthening their confidence to communicate with their peers, confirming the benefit of this program and the deployment of an exciting atmosphere, ice breaking between all participants and look closely at the cultural, scientific and social backgrounds of the participants and their personal characteristics, praising at the same time the professional performance of those in charge of the program at BIPA.
