Institute of Public Administration “BIPA” announced the training programs plan for 2015, during a meeting hosted by the Institute last November with BIPA’s Executives Directors with the training officials and directors of human resource in various government agencies and ministries.
Registration Director at the Institute Mr. Najem Salmeen reviewed BIPA’s training plan for 2015, which included a number of programs, short courses, contractual courses, and e-training courses in addition to a number of training events. Mr. Salmeen added that BIPA will launch a training package that includes a total of 8 programs, 6 free e-courses, 10 training events and 63 short courses, to reach the sum of 87 of these training programs, indicating the possibility to access and review the training manual for 2015 by visiting the website of the Institute www.bipa.com.
For its part, Knowledge Directorate at the Institute reviewed the electronic registration system adopted for registration of trainee’s information before the start of the training program, which aims to facilitate the registration procedures and link them with the latest electronic applications, especially since the registration process that precedes the training process is identifying the initial information of the trainee, which contributes to know a number of training needs. Also, keeping pace with technological developments in the areas of training requires the adoption of the latest means supportive to the training programs, which is sought by officials at the Institute.
Later, the Institute held a workshop that brought together training and recruitment officials, moderated by BIPA’s Senior Director of Basic Education and Creative Development Mohammed Al-Saba’a, concerning how to identify staff training needs. This workshop aimed at spreading awareness among the audience about the best methods to indentify training needs for public sector employees, based on which BIPA design its annual training plan.
The audience praised the efforts exerted by BIPA in order to improve the training services and programs provided for public sector employees, stressing that this would ensure achieving the most benefit out of all of these programs, in order to refine and prepare the skills and abilities of trainees in all fields.
