Within its strategy to diversify its training methods, and with the aim of strengthening the personal and professional capacities for public sector employees, Institute of Public Administration “BIPA” has adopted a series of training events, starting this series by a meeting entitled “be proactive to be a distinguished individual” for Dr. Ayoub Al-Ayoub, in which nearly 100 employees participated from various government bodies and ministries.
Executive Director of Learning and Development at the Institute Ishaq Ameen stressed on the importance of such training events, explaining that such meetings offered by the Institute aim to deliver key concepts in the government work, particularly that they do not target specific groups of employees, but directed to all employees in different functional levels, and aim to provide participants with a range of skills, knowledge and behaviors needed to reach excellence in their performance, as well as helping employees to discover their potential, and be distinctive in their personalities and the way they perform their duties, as well as linking the concepts and applications of all training courses with the real work of the trainees in the government sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Mr. Ameen noted that the Institute will present a series of consecutive training events for elite trainers during the coming period, as the next meeting will be entitled “the successful leader”, which will take place in October this year and the trainer name will be announced later, calling on all government ministries and institutions to speed up the registration process in such free training courses, through ministries’ training officials to send the names of the candidates to attend the courses to the Registration Department at the Institute, through the e-mail: registration@bipa.gov.bh, or by phone no. 17383833.
It is worth mentioning that BIPA spares no efforts to provide the best quality training programs, and to be the ideal partner for the development of civil servants with distinction, and provide value-added services to the public sector within the frameworks of quality assurance, furthermore; the Institute is primarily responsible for the implementation of two national economic initiatives in Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 and the National Strategy, namely: the creation of a distinct program for training government leaders and the development of leaders in the public sector, in addition to improving the quality and availability of training, and stemming from this, BIPA works on an ongoing basis in the preparation of training programs specifically designed to fit in with the nature of the government work in the Kingdom, and meet the needs of essential training which should be acquainted by government employees, in order to achieve the aspirations and objectives of the economic vision.
