The Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) announced receiving worksheets summaries to participate in the Middle East and North Africa Public Administration Research (MENAPAR), which will be held from 23rd to 24th of next April, as the conference seeks to establish an agenda for scientific research for public administration, its output serve the public sector and characterized by the diversity of practitioners from the Arab countries, which will enrich the exchange of experiences and knowledge in the fields of public administration sciences, based on the analysis and study of many of the current issues.
BIPA's Scientific Committee called on all those who wish to participate in presenting their administrative experiences and practices, in conformity with the themes of the conference, to submit summaries of their papers no later than 20th March, provided that summaries should not exceed 2,000 words and not less than 1,000 words. The themes of the conference are related to topics pertaining to the Arabic public administration such as strategies for capacity building in the public sector, the involvement of staff and talents management in the public sector, leadership in the public sector, transformational government, open government and e-citizenship, quality management in public administration, public administration and regional governance, partnerships between public and private sectors, public finance management, policy-making and evaluation process, public service delivery, innovation in the public sector, measuring the performance of public administration, and political-administrative relations.
It is worth mentioning that the MENAPAR initiative comes in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), where the initiative idea came from BIPA's intuition for the need of MENA regions for specialized research in the field of public administration and stemming from practitioners in particular, also the conference came with the support of the International Institute of administrative Sciences (IIAS) and the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Public Administration (IASIA), which both are considered the largest two organizations specializing in the affairs of administrative sciences at the world level.
