The Director General of the Institute of Public Administration “BIPA” Dr. Raed Mohammed bin Shams stated that preparing new government cadres is considered the basis for developing and continuity of upgrading the performance of the public sector, expressing appreciation for the cooperation of all government agencies with the management of the Institute, praising the confidence of these authorities in BIPA to train their employees in the program which is considered a unique in the region, revealing the continued keenness of the Institute for the constant program development, and the importance of the quality of its output to ensure continual upgrading of the level of public sector performance, expressing his wishes for the success of all graduates, this came on Thursday during a ceremony held by the Institute to honor 182 graduates of new government employees who obtained preparation diploma for the public sector.
The ceremony began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, then the Executive Director of Learning and Development Mr. Isaac Ameen delivered a statement in which he revealed that the program aims to create a culture of citizenship and institutional loyalty, and provides participants with the basic behaviors and knowledge to work in the public sector, in addition to creating a culture of excellence in customer service in the public sector, and finally, linking public sector employees with the Bahrain economic vision 2030.
For their part, the program’s graduates expressed their pleasure by receiving the diploma, and revealed the great effort exerted by the Institute in the development of this outstanding program, stressing its importance as a comprehensive program and beneficial for all new affiliates of the public sector, through providing opportunities for developing their skills and abilities and increasing their knowledge about government jobs, each according to his specialty. The participants commended the achievements of the program and the change wrought during their working experience, affirming their commitment to the principles learned during the training period, and promised to employ the benefits – gained during the training program – in their work in various ministries and institutions of the Kingdom. The ceremony was concluded with the distribution of diplomas to the graduates of the program.
The preparation diploma program for the public sector has been designed according to the needs of all government ministries and institutions, and according to previous experiences of the public sector employees, in order to provide a comprehensive program for the new government employees in order to develop their skills and abilities, not to mention providing them with the necessary knowledge for the government work.
