Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) won LearnX Platinum award, in its participation in the awards ceremony of the Australian LearnX organization concerned with education development, and was awarded the “best joint project” under the category of “best talent”, where BIPA participated with the e-course project entitled “improving the skills of administration development”, which was completed by a joint work between GCC institutes of public administration under the management of BIPA in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
In this regard, Senior Director of basic development and creative learning Mr. Mohammed Al-Saba’a indicated that the LearnX award is an annual award from learnX Organization in Australia, which seeks to supporting learning progress, and developing the performance of human resources in Asia and Australia, as well as the award is associated with an annual international conference and exhibition.
In regard to the details of the award, Mr. Al-Saba’a pointed out that this award is provided to many categories related to creative learning projects which is best talent category, the category of best administration talent, in addition to the category of best model in e-learning, and the category of best educational program, as well as the category of best application of modern technology, and finally the category of e-learning best design.
Mr. Al-Saba’a added: “This award aims to demonstrate the extent of the impact of learning and development on the success of the enterprise, as well as the scope of the impact of talented people and professionals in strengthening the capacities of the organization, and finally realizing the effectiveness, benefits and effects of education technology in modern educational institutions”.
Concerning the ability of the Institute to receive this award, Mr. Al-Saba’a pointed out that the project which BIPA participated in was on a high level of excellence and creativity, both as an idea or even as an administration, where it was compatible with the standards set by the organization for winning this award.
Mr. Al-Saba’a also stressed that the Institute's participation in such international awards and the winning shows how keen the Institute is in providing innovative services of high quality and at a global level, which makes the name of the Institute remarkable with the most prominent international and global institutions.
He added: ” Definitely these participations will have a positive influence in expanding the range of Institute’s partnerships with these international institutions, which will contribute to raising the performance of the Institute and the pursuit of further international achievements and initiatives.”
In regard to the recent projects of the directorate of basic development and creative learning, Mr. Al-Saba’a clarified that the directorate is currently working with the eGovernment Authority in a project for providing e-registration service in e-courses for all public sector employees, through the eGovernment portal, which facilitates the registration process for courses, and increases the opportunities to benefit from these courses, pointing out that e-courses will be free of charge and suit the needs of public sector employees.
At the end of his speech, Mr. Al-Saba’a stressed that his directorate is seeking to keep up with what's new and sophisticated in the field of learning, and provide the best services that are in line with the international standards, through developing a strategic plan based on several initiatives that contribute in providing further outstanding achievements.
