The Director General of the Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) Dr. Raed Mohammed bin Shams revealed the increased confidence and the good reputation bestowed by international and regional institutions to Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA), which shows the size of the increasing demands for the educational and technical cooperation with the Institute, especially after the 29th International Congress on Public Administration hosted by the Kingdom, which attained wide commendation from all participants therein.
This came during the last monthly meeting of BIPA's board of directors, chaired by the president of the Civil Service Bureau Mr. Ahmed bin Zayed Al-Zayed, and in the presence of the following members; Assistant Undersecretary for Private and Continuous Education at the Ministry of Education Mrs. Widad Al-Mosawi, Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Finance Mr. Ahmed Jassim Al-Faraj, Assistant Undersecretary for Training and Planning at the Ministry of Health Dr. Hala Almehza'a, and Director of Information Technology and knowledge at Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company Mr. Adnan Al-Mahmood.
The Board discussed the educational and technical cooperation carried out by the Institute with various institutions on regional and international levels, through memoranda of understanding and partnership, research and studies agreements at the level of public administration and training, where the Board of Directors invoked a blessing on the signed memorandums of understanding with both sides the Palestinians and the Turkish, also the Board was briefed on the partnership and research requests with China, Tunisia, Libya and Indonesia.
From his part, the Board invoked a blessing on this approach, stressing supporting all steps that reflect in an honest way the bright face of the human and academic element of Bahrain, and the extent of the progress reached by Bahrain in this aspect, subsequently, the Board highly valued the requests received by the Institute of genuine desire from related government agencies in Libya for the use of the great and the eminent expertise of BIPA to contribute to the creation and establishment of the Libyan Institute of Public Administration, where the Board directed the executive management of the Institute to provide all aspects of cooperation necessary for our brothers in Libya, and to carry out full coordination in this regard with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain.
At the end of the meeting, the Board reviewed the Institute's participation in some events, conferences and regional and international exhibitions, where the Board agreed to participate in these events, as they have a major role in promoting international partnerships and accessing to administrative experiences and taking advantage of them.
