Director General of the Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) Dr. Raed Mohammed bin Shams met the day before yesterday, the Libyan Charge D'affaires in the Kingdom of Bahrain Mr. Mohamed Khalifa Al-Akrout, in the frame of coordination and cooperation between BIPA and bodies concerned with leaders training in the Libyan public sector institutions, and to discuss aspects of cooperation in the field of training, counseling, studies and research, which – in turn – contributes to the preparation of cadres and leaders, according to the advanced training programs. The role of BIPA has been discussed to be a mediator and a coordinator between relevant government institutions in both countries within the frame of conveying expertise and experience in the field of government work.
The meeting also discussed the developments in the administrative arena, in light of the new developments advancements, which calls for the development of areas of government work to keep pace with the ambitions of leaders and peoples, which contributes to the economic and social prosperity, where BIPA is aspiring to be a regional authoritative source for the public administration in the Middle East.
This comes in the context of the approach adopted by BIPA through the promotion of cooperation between the Institute and the regional and international centers, as well as achieving the strategy of the institute in building a regional and middle eastern research group that contributes to building and development of Arab societies in terms of preparing qualified cadres to lead the public sector; which will contribute to the arrival of region's countries to the ranks of developed nations.
