The Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) holds a press conference at 11 a.m today to announce the launch of the activities of the 29th International Conference on Public Administration which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain during the period 1-6 June 2013 under the theme of “The Future of Public Administration: Leadership and Professionalism”.
The International Conference will be attended by Director General of the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) Dr. Raed Bin Shams and BIPA Education and Development Advisor Sofian Sahrawi.
The Press conference is expected to reveal the latest arrangements made by the Institute to ensure success to this important international conference, held once in every 3 years, and being hosted this time by the Kingdom of Bahrain in cooperation with the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) and the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA), the two largest specialized organizations in the affairs of administrative sciences in the world.
It is noteworthy that the conference is to tackle other sub-topics namely: the risk and future strategies, leadership in the future, and the creation of innovative services and will feature over its six days several sessions with the participation of lecturers from across the world.
The Key speakers participating in the International conference from the kingdom of Bahrain are Mohammed Al Qaied, Officer of the eGovernemnt Authority (eGA), Mr. Adnan Al Mahmood, the Information Technology and Knowledge Manager at Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) and Ahmed Al Bahar Former President of Civil Service Bureau along with other contributors such as Dr. Sofian Sahrawi, Assistant Director General at the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) and Adel Haji of the Civil Service Bureau.
